Ingredients

  • 4 pcs. Burger Bun
  • 12 pcs. meatballs
  • 8 pcs. onion rings
  • 15 gram remoulade - danish cold mayonnaise sauce with pickles
  • 15 gram Ketchup
  • 10 gram Pickled red onions

Instructions

  • Cut the burger buns in half. I used my own brioche burger buns, but without sesame seeds since my 4-year-old daughter is not a fan.
  • Toast the burger buns on the cut side. This way, the dressing won't soak into the bread.
  • Spread ketchup on the bottom bun. I used homemade Heinz ketchup. It takes no time to make—all the ingredients just go into a blender. And it tastes exactly like the real deal.
  • Spread remoulade on the top bun. Here I used my husband's homemade remoulade, which is also made entirely from scratch with homemade mayo and homemade pickles.
  • Warm the meatballs and place them on top of the ketchup. Then add pickled red onions followed by crunchy onion rings.
  • Place the top bun on and press the sandwich slightly together. Ready to serve!
