King Fidde's favorite dish

King Fidde's favorite dish or King Frederik's favorite dish. The dish was originally made for King Frederik IX's birthday when he was visiting Sønderborg. It is a very heavy luxury dish. Here is my version.

Ingredients

  • 600 gram Beef Tenderloin strips
  • 25 gram Oil for frying
  • 3 pcs. Onion
  • 6 gram Curry
  • 8 gram Paprika
  • 60 gram Ketchup
  • 500 gram Whipping Cream
  • 30 gram English Sauce

Sides

  • 6 pcs. Egg hard-boiled
  • 2 pcs. Onion
  • 1 glass Pickled beets cooked
  • 500 gram Potato cooked
  • 1 package French Fries wave

Instructions

  • Cut the onions into cubes and sauté them in the oil along with curry powder.
  • Cut the beef tenderloin into small strips.
  • Brown the meat in the pot.
  • Add paprika, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and cream.
  • Let the dish simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Boil potatoes and heat French fries.
  • Boil the eggs, cut them into small pieces, and place them in a small bowl.
  • Cut onions and beetroots into small cubes.
  • Serve the dish by placing potatoes and French fries on a plate and spooning the stew over them.
  • Sprinkle with eggs, onions, and beetroots.
