Ham Roast in Oven with Mustard
This ham roast becomes really juicy and not at all dry. The delightful taste of mustard suits the meat well, and during the cooking in the oven, the mustard also makes the surface delicious and slightly crispy.
Ingredients
- 1 pcs. Boiled Ham smoked
- 30 gram Mustard coarse-grained
- 30 gram Dijon Mustard
- 1 pcs. Broccoli
Instructions
Ham Roast:
- Remove the meat from the net it is wrapped in, and place it on a cutting board.
- First, coat the ham roast with a layer of Dijon mustard and then with a layer of coarse-grained mustard.
- Place the meat in a casserole dish.
- Pour water into the dish so it comes halfway up the meat.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake the ham roast for 55 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
Steamed Broccoli:
- Bring a pot with 1 1/2 dl. of water to a boil.
- Rinse the broccoli and cut the green florets off the stem. and steamed broccoli.
- "Peel" the outer, rough layer off the broccoli stem and then cut the stem into medium-thin sticks.
- This ensures the stem becomes tender at the same time as the broccoli florets and tastes just as good.
- Add the broccoli florets and stem to the pot with the boiling water and add a little salt.
- Boil/steam the broccoli under a lid for 2-3 minutes, until it is still bright in color and has some bite.
- Drain the water from the broccoli and serve immediately!
Serving:
- Slice the meat and serve with smashed potatoes, a good gravy
