Mix the minced beef with finely chopped, fresh chives and grill a few delicious beef patties. Served with potatoes and cucumber salad, it is delightful retro food in new attire.
Knead minced beef together with finely chopped chives.
Form two beef patties and grill them on a hot grill or grill pan for about 3 minutes on each side.
Cucumber Salad with Elderflower
Slice the cucumber into very thin slices, optionally use the side of the vegetable grater that has a function for cutting into paper-thin slices.
Mix elderflower syrup, vinegar, salt, and pepper, and pour it over the cucumber slices.
The salad is best made at least an hour before serving to let the flavors meld.
Halved, Oven-baked Potatoes
Use the potatoes you have; if the skin is coarse, peel them, otherwise just scrub them thoroughly.
Halve them, brush with oil, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking time may vary depending on the size of the potatoes you use.
Count on about 30 minutes of baking time at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
Serving
Serve the oven-baked beef patties with potatoes, cucumber salad, and a salad consisting of green beans, edamame beans, radishes, red onions, celery, fresh peas, pea shoots, lamb's lettuce, and fresh chives.
Optionally, make a dressing of oil, vinegar, a little mustard, and salt and pour it over the salad.
