Gin sour 43

How to make the sophisticated and classic Gin Sour with a twist. Impress your guests with the perfectly balanced cocktail!

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Lowball glass

Ingredients

  • 5 cg Gin I used Mikkeller Spririts Gin
  • 2.5 cg Lime Juice
  • 1.5 cl Syrup I used a sugar syrup
  • Angostura Bitters 3 dashes
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 cl Liquor 43
  • 10 Ice Cubes

Instructions

  • Find your shaker
  • Put all ingredients, except the ice cubes, into the shaker.
  • Place the lid on the shaker and shake it a little (we call this a dry shake, when we omit the ice cubes).
  • Take the lid off and now add the ice cubes into the shaker.
  • Put the lid back on the shaker.
  • Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
  • Pour your Gin Sour into a gin glass, preferably using a strainer (a classic bartender tool that strains the drink).
  • Serve!
