You get vegetables, potatoes, and a flavorful meat sauce – all baked together in a dish in the oven with plenty of cheese and fresh tomatoes.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pcs. Pointed Cabbage
  • 150 gram Mushroom sliced
  • 1 pcs. Leek sliced
  • 200 gram Potato peeled and sliced
  • Butter for frying
  • 1 pcs. Onion or red onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic finely chopped
  • 500 gram Ground beef
  • 1 can Chopped Tomatoes
  • 200 gram Water
  • 100 gram Cream
  • 1 pcs. Stock Cube beef
  • 2.6 gram Basil dried
  • 6 gram Salt
  • 1.15 gram Pepper
  • 200 gram Grated cheese
  • 2 pcs. Tomato

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit), conventional oven.
  • Heat butter in a pot and sauté cabbage, mushrooms, leeks, and potatoes for 3-4 minutes. Pour the mixture into an ovenproof dish.
  • Put a little more butter in the pot and sauté the onions and garlic. Add the beef and let it brown.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, water, cream, bouillon cube, basil, salt, and pepper to the pot and let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
  • Spread half of the grated cheese over the vegetables in the dish and pour the meat sauce on top.
  • Arrange tomato slices in the dish and cook for 30 minutes in the oven.
  • Take the dish out and sprinkle the remaining grated cheese on top, give it 10 more minutes in the oven – until the cheese is melted.
  • Serve with a sprinkle of parsley on top
