Easy and Spiced Beer Cake

Ingredients

  • 450 gram Brown sugar
  • 500 gram Wheat Flour
  • 7.2 gram Baking Soda
  • 4.8 gram Baking Soda
  • 2.85 gram Ground ginger
  • 5.2 gram Cinnamon
  • 2.1 gram Ground cloves
  • 2 gram Cardamom ground
  • 75 gram Dates dried pitted, finely chopped
  • 50 gram Walnut Kernels chopped
  • 350 gram Beer dark

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (347 degrees Fahrenheit) (fan).
  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl with a hand mixer until you get a smooth batter.
  • Put the batter in a loaf pan lined with baking paper and bake for about 1 hour. Check by inserting a toothpick into the cake; if it comes out clean, the cake is done.
  • Can be served warm, but also tastes wonderful cooled and keeps delicious for 2-3 days.
