Baked pasta in a dish with ham and greens

Baked pasta in a dish with ham, cauliflower, zucchini, and cheese… you could almost call it a healthier version of mac'n'cheese. Crispy on the top, soft and creamy inside, and just filled with good taste and delicious stuff.

Ingredients

  • 200 gram Whole Grain Pasta
  • 1/2 pcs. Cauliflower
  • 1 package Ham in cubes or strips
  • 1 pcs. Onion
  • 1/2 pcs. Squash
  • 250 gram Sour Cream
  • 2.3 gram Paprika
  • 1.15 gram Chili ground
  • 3 gram Salt
  • Pepper a bit
  • 1 handful Grated cheese
  • 1 handful Parsley chopped
  • 150 gram Boiling Water from pasta/cauliflower

Topping

  • grated cheese
  • Parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Set the pasta to boil.
  • Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and divide it into small florets. Put the cauliflower in the pot with the pasta and let it boil together for about 10 minutes in total.
  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • Finely chop the onion and grate the zucchini, put it in an ovenproof dish along with the ham.
  • Drain the pasta and cauliflower of water, but save a bit of the water. Add the pasta and cauliflower to the dish.
  • Mix the sour cream with the spices, cheese, parsley, grated cheese, and cooking water – pour the mixture into the dish and mix everything well together.
  • Top with grated cheese and cook it for about 15 minutes in the oven, until the cheese is golden.
  • Serve with a green salad on the side and fresh parsley on top.
