1. Melt 200 grams of butter in a pot. Then add 300 grams of dates. Cook them tender in the butter over medium heat. Mash the dates with a spoon along the way.
2. Then blend the almonds finely.
3. Add the dates with their butter and blend until the mixture is uniform.
4. Then add the eggs, salt, cinnamon, and applesauce. Blend the mixture until uniform.
5. Add the flour little by little while blending.
6. When the cake batter is as homogeneous as possible, pour it into a mold and bake the cake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) for 30 minutes.
7. Now for the buttercream: Melt 100 grams of butter in a pot and cook the remaining 300 grams of dates tender as before.
8. Blend the dates and butter thoroughly together.
9. Add the three carrots and blend thoroughly.
10. Finally, add the cream cheese, and blend the mixture as thoroughly as possible.
11. When the cake has cooled on the kitchen counter, you can spread the buttercream on top. The cake benefits greatly from standing in the refrigerator for a couple of hours before serving.
