Vietnamese Beef Tacos
Equipment
- 1 Frying Pan
- 1 Grater
Ingredients
- 50 gram Mayonnaise Asian
- 25 gram Soya
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 pcs. Ginger fresh
- 1/2 pcs. Chili red
- 1 bag Mint fresh
- 1 package Peanuts salted
- 225 gram Ground beef
- 8 pcs. Tortillas small bread
- 60 gram salad mixed
- 1 pcs. Gulerød julienned (cut into thin strips)
- 15 gram Water
- 13.5 gram Olive Oil
Instructions
Prepare ingredients
- Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan for heating the tortillas.
- Finely grate garlic and ginger.
- Split the chili, remove the seeds, and slice thinly.
- Cut the lime into wedges.
- Rinse the lettuce.
- Roughly chop mint and peanuts.
Cook minced beef
- Mix garlic, ginger, soy sauce, water, and a splash of lime juice in a bowl.
- Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook the minced beef for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Add the marinade and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened and fragrant.
- The beef should be thoroughly cooked.
Heat tortillas
- Heat the tortillas in the microwave for 30-60 seconds, or wrap them in aluminum foil and warm in the oven for 4-5 minutes.
Serving
- Fill the tortillas with lettuce, beef, and carrot.
- Top with Asian mayonnaise, peanuts, mint, and chili.
- Adjust the amount of chili to taste for a milder or stronger version.
