
Recipe for spicy beef stew with beans and bacon
Autumn is synonymous with lots of wonderful stews…
Today, it turned into this spiced beef stew with bacon, beans, and rosemary. The meat is tender and delicious, and the sauce is creamy and flavorful, made with, among other things, cream, tomato, and mushrooms. Yum, a powerful combo!
It is all served with whole grain rice and a simple salad… It could, for example, be this everyday salad.
Easy, delicious, and ready in half an hour!

Spicy Beef Stew with Beans and Bacon
Ingredients
- 360 gram Rice brown
- 150 gram Bacon diced
- 1 pcs. Onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic finely chopped
- 200 gram Mushroom sliced
- 400 gram Beef in strips or diced
- 1 can Tomato Puree
- 300 gram Water
- 1 pcs. Beef Broth cube
- 200 gram Cream
- 7-14 gram Sweet paprika taste
- 1-2 rib Fresh rosemary
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Start cooking the rice in lightly salted water.
- Fry the bacon until crispy in a pan and set it aside.
- In the same pan, sauté the onions and garlic until the onions become translucent. Add the mushrooms and cook until they brown lightly.
- Add the meat to the pan and let it brown.
- Add tomato purée, water, bouillon cube, cream, rosemary, and spices to the pan and mix well. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Return the bacon to the pan and also add the beans. Let it simmer for a few minutes and season to taste.
- Serve with rice and optionally with a salad
