Recipe for paw patrol cake

Paw Patrol has taken the world by storm, and a children’s birthday party calls for a beautifully decorated layer cake. Our chocolate layer cake is decorated with Marshall, Marshall’s fire truck, buttercream, and Kit Kat.

Birthday Layer Cake

Ingredients

  • 8 pcs. Egg Yolk
  • 8 pcs. egg white
  • 110 gram Sugar
  • 30 gram Wheat Flour
  • 25 gram Cocoa
  • 140 gram Hazelnut Flour
  • 12 gram Vanilla Sugar
  • 6 pcs. Pasteurized egg yolks
  • 3 pcs. Pasteurized egg whites
  • 85 gram Sugar
  • 100 gram Powdered Sugar
  • 5 gram Vanilla Sugar
  • 250 gram Butter
  • 12 gram Cocoa
  • 100 gram Dark chocolate
  • 250 gram Butter
  • 500 gram Powdered Sugar
  • 12 gram Vanilla Sugar
  • 1 pcs. Lemon Both the zest and the juice
  • Paste Color Yellow and orange
  • 2 pcs. Banana Sliced
  • 1 package Strawberry Sliced
  • Kitkat Or Waffle Cones

Instructions

Layers

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit)
    2. Place parchment paper at the bottom of a 23cm springform pan
    3. Separate the eggs into yolks and whites.
    4. Whisk the egg yolks and sugar until white and fluffy
    5. Sift the vanilla sugar, cocoa, and flour together and quickly whisk it into the mixture
    6. Fold in hazelnut flour
    7. Whisk the egg whites until stiff and fold them in a little at a time
    8. Pour the batter into the springform pan and bake for about 45 minutes
    9. Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool 
    10. Cut the cake twice horizontally, so you have 3 layers in total

Cream

    1. Whisk eggs and sugar thoroughly in the mixer (about 10 min.)
    2. Pour the mixture into another bowl
    3. Put butter in the mixer bowl and whisk with the paddle attachment until completely light
    4. Sift powdered sugar into the butter a little at a time and continue whisking
    5. Melt the chocolate
    6. Add melted chocolate and cocoa powder and whisk until smooth
    7. Add the egg mixture little by little to the buttercream – whisk thoroughly between each addition

Buttercream (fire)

    1. Take the butter out of the fridge 30 min. before use
    2. Divide the butter into 4 pieces and place it in the mixer
    3. Whisk with the paddle attachment until airy
    4. Add 100g powdered sugar, whisk together and repeat
    5. Add vanilla, lemon zest, and juice and whisk together
    6. Add yellow food coloring and whisk thoroughly
    7. Paint an orange stripe in the piping bag and fill it carefully with the cream
    1. Flames (orange meringue kisses and yellow buttercream with orange details)
    2. Kitkat or wafer cones
    3. Banana (1st layer) and strawberries (3rd layer)
