Recipe for orange cake
Orange Loaf Cake… moist and beautifully sun-yellow orange cake, perfect for a cozy afternoon tea.
The cake is moist and spongy and can stay fresh for several days… that is, if it doesn’t get eaten first.

- Whisk
- Grater
- Bread Form
- Oven
Ingredients
- 120 gram Butter soft
- 3 pcs. Egg
- 170 gram Sugar
- 8 gram Vanilla Sugar
- 180 gram Flour
- 5 gram Baking Soda
- 75 gram Milk
- Orange Juice from 1/2 orange
- Orange Peel from 1 orange
Glaze
- Powdered Sugar
- Orange Juice
Instructions
Whisk sugar - butter - vanilla and one egg at a time together in a bowl. Add flour - baking powder and milk. Finally, add grated orange zest and juice. Pour the batter into your loaf pan and bake for approximately 35-45 minutes at 175° (fan-assisted).
Icing
- Mix powdered sugar and orange juice to a thick icing and spread over the cooled cake.
