Equipment

  • Bowl
  • Oven
  • Rolling Pin

Ingredients

  • 120 gram Salt Fine salt
  • 120 gram Wheat Flour
  • 100 gram Water
  • 14 gram Oil Neutral taste

Instructions

  • Start by mixing salt, wheat flour, and oil in a bowl.
  • Then add a little water at a time. Continue until it resembles playdough - it might require slightly more or less than 1 dl of water.
  • Let it rest on the kitchen counter for an hour before continuing. Use either a tea towel or a shower cap over the bowl.
  • After an hour, preheat the oven to 100 degrees Celsius (212 degrees Fahrenheit) conventional oven.
  • Now, roll out the dough relatively thinly and cut out shapes.
  • I chose to make them as hearts with a hole at the top so they could be used as Christmas tree decorations.
  • At the same time, my children's names were written on them.
  • Bake them in the oven for 4 hours and let them cool on a rack.
  • They should become slightly golden on the edges.
  • Note, they are obviously not edible.
