Ingredients

Hunter Steak

  • 1 package Ground Beef 8-12 %
  • 1 package Bacon in slices
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Butter for frying

Sauce

  • 1 pcs. Red Onion minced
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • Bacon the rest of the above package should be sliced into strips
  • 1 package Dried mushrooms Karl Johan - soak in lukewarm water for 20 min. Then cut into strips
  • 0.5 package Mushroom in slices
  • 75 gram Red Wine
  • 50 gram Veal Stock
  • 200 gram Whipping Cream

Instructions

Hunter's Steak

  • Shape the minced meat into patties.
  • Wrap a slice of bacon around the patty
  • Season the patties with salt and pepper, brown them well in butter, and place them in a dish.

  • Sauté red onions, garlic, bacon strips, champignon mushrooms, and other mushrooms.
  • Add red wine and stock.
  • Turn up the heat and let it reduce a bit.
  • Add the cream and cook until it thickens slightly.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  •  
  • Pour the sauce over the patties and place the dish in the oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes.
  • Serve with baked potatoes - beans or a rustic salad.
