Ingredients
Hunter Steak
- 1 package Ground Beef 8-12 %
- 1 package Bacon in slices
- Salt and Pepper
- Butter for frying
Sauce
- 1 pcs. Red Onion minced
- 1 clove Garlic minced
- Bacon the rest of the above package should be sliced into strips
- 1 package Dried mushrooms Karl Johan - soak in lukewarm water for 20 min. Then cut into strips
- 0.5 package Mushroom in slices
- 75 gram Red Wine
- 50 gram Veal Stock
- 200 gram Whipping Cream
Instructions
Hunter's Steak
- Shape the minced meat into patties.
- Wrap a slice of bacon around the patty
- Season the patties with salt and pepper, brown them well in butter, and place them in a dish.
- Sauté red onions, garlic, bacon strips, champignon mushrooms, and other mushrooms.
- Add red wine and stock.
- Turn up the heat and let it reduce a bit.
- Add the cream and cook until it thickens slightly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour the sauce over the patties and place the dish in the oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes.
- Serve with baked potatoes - beans or a rustic salad.
