Recipe for healthier banana bites with chocolate and oats
Healthy, sweet, and simple…? These small banana snacks are absolutely brilliant for a small hunger, a sweet tooth, or for lunchboxes. They are made with just 4 ingredients and are both easy and quick to make. They are sweetened with banana instead of sugar and contain neither oil nor butter – so they’re not indulgent at all, but taste like they are… And honestly, those are almost the best snacks, right?
I added dark chocolate, but if you want to avoid it, you can omit it or substitute it with, for example, raisins, dried cranberries, or apricots…
They are crispy on the outside, soft and a bit chewy inside and rich in banana flavor, beautifully complemented by crunchy walnuts and small chocolate pieces. Yum.
