Recipe for ham flank steak
Flank steak is a delicious piece of pork and absolutely perfect for the grill.
I must admit, I had never heard of this cut from pork before my butcher recommended I try it. Essentially, I know it’s cut from the ham, though not exactly where. Of course, that’s not so important.
I put it on the grill while the weather was good, and the result was really delicious, so here’s a thank you to my local butcher.

Ham Flank Steak
Equipment
- Bowl
- Brush
- Grill
- Cutting Board
- Pre-Slicing Knife
Ingredients
- 500 g Flank Steak of pork
- Oil
- Salt and Pepper
- Curry
- Cayenne Pepper
- Paprika
Instructions
- Mix the oil with the spices and brush the meat with the spice mixture
- Let it sit and marinate. The longer it marinates, the better. I made my marinade in the morning, and we ate in the evening, but you can do it just 30 minutes before.
- Place the flank steak on a grill over medium-high heat. Grill for 7 minutes on each side.
- The meat doesn't need to rest afterwards. Cut the flank steak against the grain and serve immediately.
