Ingredients
- 800 gram Ground Beef
- 25 gram Margarine Can be replaced with butter or neutral-flavored oil
- Salt
Soft onions
- Pepper
- 3 pcs. Onion Preferably large
- 20 gram Margarine Can be replaced with butter or neutral-flavored oil

- Pepper
Instructions
Soft Onions
- Peel your onions and cut them into rings.
- Melt your butter/margarine/oil and sauté the onions over medium-high heat until they get some color (turn golden). This takes about 7-10 minutes.
- Season them with salt and pepper, then remove them from the pan and place them on a plate while the patties cook.
Ground Beef Patty
- Make sure to take your ground meat out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before cooking. It's important that the meat isn't too cold when it goes into the pan, as it may start boiling instead of frying.
- Shape the meat into patties of 100-125 grams each, depending on how many you want to make.
- Let your margarine/butter/oil get hot and place the patties in the pan. Be careful not to overcrowd the pan, as the temperature will drop when the cold meat is added. It's better to fry them on two pans at the same time if necessary.
- Fry the patty for 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip. Give them another 4-5 minutes at slightly lower heat.
- Let your patties rest for a few minutes under a cloth before serving. In the meantime, you can warm the soft onions by placing them in the pan at low heat.
- Add water to the pan afterward and deglaze it to make a delicious brown pan sauce.
- Serve the dish with potatoes and brown sauce.
