Recipe for ground beef patties in pan with cream-paprika sauce
Tonight, I have a course to attend, so dinner needed to be easy and able to take care of itself while grandma entertains the boys…. These ground beef patties in a casserole are quickly seared on the pan, then the most delicious paprika cream sauce is whipped up in 10 minutes, and the rest of the cooking takes place in the oven – absolutely perfect for a day like today – or any other cool autumn day where cozy and flavorful slow-cooked food is at the forefront.
I served the beef patties with oven-roasted rosemary potatoes and a quick arugula salad.
There are many variants of this dish, I’ve taken a bit here and there, mixed with my own twist, and conjured up the recipe I find most delightful.
Add some chili to the sauce if you want more kick, and if you’re not into oven potatoes, serve with mashed potatoes.
