Honey-roasted muesli with oats, nuts, seeds, and kernels

Recipe for granola

Granola is toasted muesli, which, for example, is dipped in honey and butter before being baked in the oven.

Honey-roasted muesli with oats, nuts, seeds, and kernels

Ingredients

  • 28 gram Almonds
  • 35 gram Hazelnuts
  • 7 gram Linseed
  • 9 gram Sesame Seeds
  • 9 gram Sunflower Seeds
  • 9 gram Pumpkin Seeds
  • 35 gram Oatmeal
  • 50 gram Honey
  • 15 gram Butter

Instructions

  • Start by roughly chopping the almonds and hazelnuts.
  • Then chop the seeds and kernels using a food processor.
  • Heat the honey and butter in a pot. They should melt and become liquid.
  • Add the nuts, seeds, kernels, and oats to the pot and mix well.
  • Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a conventional oven at 150 degrees Celsius (302 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 20 minutes. Keep an eye on them; they should be beautifully golden.
  • Remove from the oven and spread out over a tray, keeping them apart. Let them cool completely and store in an airtight container.
  • They can be kept this way for a couple of weeks.
