Recipe for easy brown cookies
Delicious gingerbread cookies are synonymous with Christmas in most Danes’ minds. They taste wonderful, and here we provide you with a super easy recipe.

Ingredients
- 250 gram Butter
- 125 gram Brown sugar
- 250 gram Syrup
- 1 Brev Tørsleff Brunkager krydderi
- 500 gram Wheat Flour
Instructions
- Put butter, brown sugar, and syrup in a saucepan and let it melt together over medium heat.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the brown cookie spice.
- Stir in the flour until you have a smooth dough.
- Let the dough cool before rolling it into logs.
- Refrigerate the logs for an hour to make them easier to slice into thin pieces.
- Then place them on a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake for 5-7 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) in a conventional oven.
Notes
The dough is suitable for freezing until ready to use.
