Super easy and delicious cookies. Freezer-friendly dough so you can make a large batch at once! You'll always be just 10 minutes away from freshly baked cookies!

Recipe for fast chocolate cookies

We love cookies at home, and we’ve been experimenting with ways to eat more!

That’s why we always make a large batch and roll the dough into logs. This way, the dough can be frozen and sliced directly from the freezer next time we want to bake.

Smart!

Ingredients

  • 300 gram Dark chocolate I use chocolate chips
  • 10 gram Baking Soda
  • 250 gram with top
  • 360 gram Butter
  • 150 gram Brown sugar
  • 370 gram Sugar
  • 3 pcs. Egg
  • 7 dl Wheat Flour

Instructions

  • Take the butter out of the fridge so it reaches room temperature before you start.
  • Find a large bowl/mixing bowl and add the butter, brown sugar, baking powder, and vanilla sugar. Mix it together, either by hand or using your mixer.
  • Add one egg at a time while the dough becomes smooth and glossy. Then add the flour little by little, while the dough gradually becomes more elastic. Stir in the chocolate chips. If you are using a chocolate bar, chop it into smaller pieces first.
  • Lay out two pieces of baking paper on the table.
  • Divide the dough onto each of the two pieces of baking paper. Shape each piece of cookie dough into a roll and wrap the rolls in each piece of baking paper.
  • Place the packages in a freezer bag and put them in the freezer.
  • Take the cookie dough out of the freezer when needed.
  • Cut the roll into slices of 1½ – 2 centimeters thick. The dough does not need to thaw first. Place each piece of dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • Let them sit at room temperature while you preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) conventional oven. Place the baking sheet in the now preheated oven.
  • Bake your cookies for 10 – 13 minutes.
  • Take the finished cookies out and place them to cool on a cooling rack.
