Recipe for bread croutons

Delicious, crispy homemade croutons with salt, garlic, and parsley.. just so good! I use them as a topping on soups and salads, such as Caesar Salad… but they’re also perfect for snacking on their own or as part of a tapas arrangement.

They are absolutely brilliant for using up day-old bread, even if it’s dry, it doesn’t matter at all. I made these from a coarse French bread, but toast bread or any other light bread works just as well.

If you prefer, you can cut them into sticks instead of cubes – that way you’ll get crispy, chip-like sticks that can be eaten as snacks.

They are ready in just 15 minutes and add a delightful touch to many dishes.

Store them in an airtight container, and they’ll stay nice and crispy for several days.
