Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 2 hours 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 0.5 package Dry Yeast 15 g regular yeast
  • 12.5 gram Sugar
  • 18 gram Coarse salt
  • 54 gram Oil Neutral flavor
  • 500 gram Water Lukewarm
  • 850 gram Wheat Flour Save a bit for kneading
  • 1 pcs. Egg For brushing
  • tomato sauce A glass
  • 1 package Ham Strips
  • 1 package Pepperoni
  • 1 package Grated cheese

Instructions

The dough

  • First, make a basic bread dough.
  • Mix yeast, sugar, salt, oil, and lukewarm water in a mixing bowl. The yeast should dissolve in the water.
  • If you are using a mixer like I do, give it about 1 minute. If you're using hand power, it can take a few minutes.
  • Sift in the flour gradually. When the dough comes together, you can increase the speed of your kitchen machine. When the dough begins to pull away from the sides of the bowl, it's ready.
  • If you're using hand power instead, take the dough out onto the counter and knead it for about 20 minutes. The dough should be smooth and pleasant to touch.
  • Let the dough rise in an airtight bowl – for instance, cover it with a shower cap or plastic wrap.
  • Let the dough rise for 2 hours at room temperature.
  • Turn the dough out onto a floured counter.
  • Roll the dough out until it has a nice, even thickness.
  • Spread tomato sauce, cheese, ham, and pepperoni over the dough. Then roll the dough into a log and cut it into nice scrolls.
  • Let the scrolls rise again for 30 minutes under a clean kitchen towel.
  • Brush them with egg and bake for 10-12 minutes in a preheated oven at 210 degrees Celsius (410 degrees Fahrenheit) (fan-forced).
