It’s not as troublesome as it looks, and it really tastes good. So go for it, what’s the worst that can happen?? ?
Honey-glazed with browned butter and hazelnuts

Ingredients
- 1 package Scorzone Roots
- Water
- Lemon Juice from 1 lemon
- 42 gram Honey for the glazing
- Butter for the glazing
- Salt for the glazing
- Hazelnuts toasted - a small handful
- Fresh thyme a little
Instructions
- The long stems are rinsed and scrubbed free of dirt.
- Have a bowl with water and lemon juice ready.
- The roots turn brown quickly when peeled.
- Peel them now and place them in the water.
- Cut them as you like and they are now ready to use.
- There are many ways to prepare them, here is one of them:
- Give them a quick boil in the water and let them simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let them sit in the water for about 15 minutes.
- Now glaze them in a pan with honey, browned butter, and a little salt until they are beautifully golden and the glaze has coated the roots nicely.
- Sprinkle with toasted hazelnuts and fresh thyme sprigs.
