Recipe for marinated chicken skewers
Something delicious for the grill in this beautiful spring weather? Here’s a suggestion for wonderful skewers with tender, marinated chicken – super simple and kid-friendly, but also quite good for adults. The boys had them with oven-baked potatoes and raw vegetables, I ate them with a good salad. They can be made both in the oven and on the grill and are great with bread, pasta salad, or a green salad. My kids also love them in their lunchbox – so maybe an idea for that too.
This marinade is very simple with just 4 ingredients. It has a sweet, lightly spiced flavor and is well-liked by the kids. If you want more kick, you can add a bit of chili and/or garlic to the marinade. Or you could vary it by putting some vegetables on the skewers as well.
Regardless, they taste wonderful and can be used for many things – and they are both easy and quick to make.
