Recipe for morning bowl with smoothie and vanilla skyr
Fresh start to the day with a berry smoothie on vanilla skyr, topped with toasted oats and fresh berries…
If you don’t feel like going all out, but still want something nice and healthy, this is a perfect choice.
I like to combine skyr and smoothie in the bowl – it fills you up more and gives a bit of texture variation, which I find quite delightful. And the sweet skyr complements the fresh smoothie really well. On top, there’s a mix of toasted oats, crunchy almonds, and fresh berries – a delicious and satisfying blend for a good start to the day.
I just used berries from the freezer and a couple of bananas I had frozen, but ripe bananas from the fruit bowl work just as well.
No matter what, it’s easy, quick, fresh, and delicious.
