Recipe for the best and easiest iced coffee
Summer is upon us and one of my absolute favorite drinks this time of year is iced coffee – and preferably several times a day! This iced coffee is wonderful on hot days, it’s super easy, and it’s ready in 2 minutes – so you can definitely manage it a couple of times a day… I like to sweeten mine with caramel – or vanilla syrup, it’s just so good! But if you prefer it less sweet, you can easily skip the syrup or use regular sugar or sweetener if that’s more to your taste.
At first, I made the iced coffee with boiling water to dissolve the instant coffee, but I actually learned that the water doesn’t need to be hot to dissolve the coffee. So now I just use cold water, and it’s quicker to cool down with ice cubes. But if you’re really clever, you can just make a good big cup of strong coffee and put it in the fridge – then you have coffee ready for iced coffees all day, and you just need to add milk and ice cubes. However, I often forget to do this myself! So here you get the recipe with instant coffee, which is the one I use the most.
The best and easiest iced coffee
Ingredients
- 1,5 tsp. Instant coffee
- 0,5 dl Water cold
- 1 tsp. Syrup e.g. vanilla or caramel, alternatively 1 tsp sugar
- Ice Cubes
- 2,5 dl Milk ice cold
Instructions
- Put instant coffee in a glass and add water – stir until the coffee powder is dissolved.
- Fill the glass with ice cubes and add milk and syrup. Stir and serve
