Ingredients

  • 1500 gram Blackberry
  • 200 gram Water
  • 45 gram Lemon Juice
  • 400 gram Sugar
  • 1 brev/sachet red melatin

Instructions

  • Rinse the blackberries.
  • Put berries, water, and lemon juice in a pot and heat it up on low heat.
  • When the juice comes out and they change color. It takes 5-10 minutes.
  • Add the sugar and cook it for 10 minutes.
  • Mix a little sugar and pectin in a small bowl with a fork.
  • Add the pectin-sugar mixture to the boiling jam and let it boil for 2 minutes while stirring.
  • Pour the finished jam into jars that have been scalded beforehand or sterilized with a bit of atamon.
  • Put the lid on and store the jam in a cool, dark place until it's ready to be used.
