Blackberry Jam
Canning: Delicious and quick recipe for blackberry jam. It requires few ingredients and is packed with great taste.
Ingredients
- 1500 gram Blackberry
- 200 gram Water
- 45 gram Lemon Juice
- 400 gram Sugar
- 1 brev/sachet red melatin
Instructions
- Rinse the blackberries.
- Put berries, water, and lemon juice in a pot and heat it up on low heat.
- When the juice comes out and they change color. It takes 5-10 minutes.
- Add the sugar and cook it for 10 minutes.
- Mix a little sugar and pectin in a small bowl with a fork.
- Add the pectin-sugar mixture to the boiling jam and let it boil for 2 minutes while stirring.
- Pour the finished jam into jars that have been scalded beforehand or sterilized with a bit of atamon.
- Put the lid on and store the jam in a cool, dark place until it's ready to be used.
